DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 12, 2022, features Sami Brady and Lucas Horton’s wedding going exactly how you would expect…all drama, no bliss.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) spent his morning convincing Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and himself, that he could marry Sami (Alison Sweeney) without exposing the truth. He’ll just be a much better man from now on. That’ll make up for it!
Sami did much the same to anyone who would listen. She LOVES Lucas, not EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). She’ll be happy, she swears! She may have convinced herself but EJ, Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker), and even Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) didn’t quite believe it.
DAYS Recap: Slivers Of Truth
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) also had his doubts and told Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) as much. He then went on about his dad’s relapse, Lucas’s bandaged hand, and his worry for his parents’ future. Chad was all ears.
Later, once alone, Chad got a call from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder case was wide open again. Security footage cleared Clyde Weston (James Read). It took all of two seconds for Chad to put the pieces together. Lucas did it!
DAYS Spoilers Recap: Shameful Gossip
After slut shaming Sami and reading her for filth, EJ and Nicole headed into the pub for a nice drink. There, they shamed each other for not being with the people they really love. They also both denied not being with the people they really love. Vicious circles and all that.

Speaking of hopeless people in love, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) admitted to Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) that he loves Nicole. But, she’s married now so it doesn’t matter.
Meanwhile, twins Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) took cheap shots at each other while decorating the church. Nice red suit, Johnny. Blah blah blah, Allie. Of course, they also quibbled over who is best for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).
DAYS Recaps: Wedding Bells Ring
The wedding began with Roman walking his daughter down the aisle and Kate staring daggers at her lying liar of a son. Eric walked the couple through their vows while fighting visions of this being Rafe and Nicole’s wedding because that’s not weird at all.
Much to everyone’s surprise, there were no objections to the wedding, the vows were tissue-worthy, and the rings were placed on fingers. Lucas truly thought he was about to get everything he ever wanted…until a split second before Eric was to pronounce them husband and wife.
All hell broke loose when Chad stormed the church. He stomped to the altar, grabbed Lucas, and went on the attack. As they were being pulled apart, he accused Lucas of killing his wife to keep the secret that he’s the dirty kidnapper who took poor Sami!
