Days of our Lives Star Deidre Hall Reveals Her Quarantine Hobby

On Days of our Lives, Dr. Marlena Evans is known for helping those in times of need, so it’s no surprise that her portrayer, Deidre Hall, is doing her part to be there for fans during this troubling time due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In Hall’s latest fireside chat, which she posted on Instagram this weekend, the actress sits on her porch and thanks fans for sending in questions.

“I appreciate the energy that was put into these and I am looking forward to answering a lot of those,” Hall says, pausing briefly as the sounds of an airplane flies above.

Since a lot of people asked what she’s been doing during this time—which Hall refers to as “the quarantine”—she explains how she has been water coloring, which is a favorite passion of hers.

Showing off her latest works, Hall notes she’s had a “passion for shoes lately” and among her watercolor paintings are the pink ballet shoes of a little girl, the feet of a woman in red polka-dotted heals, and a kid’s pair of red Mary Jane’s.

Hall has long been known for her love of watercolors and even transformed one of her favorites into a greeting card, which she sells on her website with proceeds going towards the Wounded Warrior Project.

For these new watercolors, Hall asks fans not to screenshot them, as they aren’t quite ready, and she promises to make them available when they are.

Recorded on Sunday, Hall shares that she’s missing her friends at church and knows a lot of those watching are feeling that same way.

“I’ll be glad where there’s a safe time to get back together and enjoy each other’s company again,” she says.
