Dr. Marlena Evans on Days of Our Lives used to have her own radio talk show to offer listeners advice. Today, her portrayer, Deidre Hall, is using social media platforms to reach out to her followers with words of support during these troubled times.
Deidre Hall Is Ready To Talk To You
Hall posted a video on Instagram shot from her porch. She talked about how her day was going and how she picked some roses from her property. “Aren’t they absolutely beautiful?” asked Hall, noting that she’s not a fan of the colors orange or coral “but I am of roses.”
The DAYS fan favorite used a recycled can to hold her roses, something she feels gives the display some character. “I do [this] all the time,” she says. “I save any jar I use. It’s kind of an unpretentious way to display spectacular roses!”

Hall wants folks to know that she can relate to people having to put their regular routines on hold. She’s done that by no longer going to a church service with a pal. “I’m missing it — especially this morning,” she says. Also, Hall says she also understands what it’s like wearing the same sweats and/or pajamas day after day as people aren’t leaving their homes. “Why not? They’re comfortable!”
One supporter of Hall’s certainly agrees. “Loving your video messages,” posted @barbara.long. “I rarely get out of my pjs these days. I’m in Atlanta and the rain is back again today into tomorrow. 😩 It’s made me very sleepy!”
The actress wants her followers to know she appreciates all the questions fans have sent in to be answered. She’s in the process of narrowing them down. “I hope you’re having a great day and are safe,” Hall adds. “I will talk to yo every soon.” Check out Hall’s Instagram post below.
