Days of our Lives Recap: Kristen Puts Her Mask-erade As Kate In Motion

The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, April 29, 2021, features Kristen donning yet another new face, Gwen offered a change of address, as well as Tripp and Allie sharing a fraught moment.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlight

A room beneath the DiMera mansion. Why did it have to be a room beneath the DiMera mansion? How many times must Kate (Lauren Koslow) be imprisoned in a room beneath the DiMera mansion?!

According to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), just once more. Because once she’s through borrowing Kate’s entire look, she’s shipping Miss Roberts off to a tropical island. Whether it’s the same one currently housing Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) remains to be seen.

Kate’s pretty sure the scheme will fail spectacularly, but she’s seriously underestimating Kristen’s mask-making skills. She’s gotten really, really good.

Girl Talk

Abigail (Marci Miller) is in desperate need of a friendly chat. After mulling her options, and upon realizing that she has no actual friends, she’s forced to literally drag Gabi (Camila Banus) out of Philip’s (Jay Kenneth Johnson) Titan office and over to Julie’s Place.

The pow-wow is short, not very sweet, and straight to the point. Abby needs to get over her privileged self!

The Crush

Allie (Lindsay Arnold) rushes a fussy, fevered Henry Lucas over to the hospital, and she’s delighted to find that Tripp (Lucas Adams) will be playing her son’s doctor.

Tripp correctly identifies the problem – ear infection – and after preparing a prescription, he and Allie flirt outrageously with one another and come this close to kissing. We’re gonna guess that the ill baby was the one impediment…and maybe the rape accusation.

House Hunter

Papa Jack (Matthew Ashford) don’t preach. Yes, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is in trouble deep. But she’s made up her mind…on two points. She’s keeping her baby, and she’s heading out of town. It’s what she and Abby really want anyway.

But Jack won’t hear of it. Why leave for parts unknown when she can merely pack a suitcase and move into his house? The house formerly occupied by Alice Horton.

Now, Alice Horton was a saint on earth if there ever was one – you’d need to be to deal with Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and her shenanigans. But even Alice had her limits where wrong’uns were concerned.

And she definitely didn’t take too kindly to people who murdered her in-laws. Say what you will about Laura (Jaime Lyn Bauer), but she was a beloved Horton family member. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
