The Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, April 30, 2021, tease a tried and true soap trope rearing its head, yet another mask-erade, and a broken-hearted man turning to one of his two age-appropriate friends.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Highlight

Abigail (Marci Miller) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) have a major showdown, and like all major showdowns between a woman and her pregnant rival, said showdown takes place at the top of a staircase.

By the argument’s end, Gwen will be at the bottom of the stairs, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) will have witnessed the fall, and Abby will have a whole lot of explaining to do.

This Thing Called Love

Allie (Lindsay Arnold) has something to tell Claire (Isabel Durant). She’s like totally into Tripp (Lucas Adams)! Sure, sure, it is incredibly weird and awkward seeing as how she nearly destroyed his life with a false rape accusation. But he’s totes over it and he’s uber cute. And he’s great with Henry.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Will Claire encourage her cousin’s crush? Or will she rightfully point out that it’s all kinds of wrong and convince her to pursue someone else entirely? Given Claire’s own romantic history….we’re going to hedge our bets on no.

Face To (Fake) Face

Having sharpened her mask-making skills with the Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) facsimile, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) goes whole hog and whips up a Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) special – blue highlight and all.

And with her new face donned, Kristen tracks Jake (Brandon Barash) down and breaks up with him. The bewildered businessman begs for a reprieve, but “Kate” won’t hear of it. Perhaps Jake should go and cry on Gabi’s (Camila Banus) shoulder?

A Friend In Need

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) heads to Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn’s (Brandon Beemer) abode and apologizes to Claire. He’s sorry for raising his voice to her, and he’s sorry for intimating that she wasn’t his friend because she wouldn’t help him kidnap his wife and drag her off to a burned-down cabin.

Upon reflection, he’s figured out that was all wrong. And Claire should be proud of him – he let Ciara (Victoria Konefal) go on her merry way with Theo (Cameron Johnson) with nary an argument. Now, can he cry on her shoulder? Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
