The Days of Our Lives recap for October 7-11, 2019 features a week of tears, joy, suspense, and heartbreaking anticipation in Salem. Take a look back at what you missed in Salem.
Poor Gabi (Camila Banus) had a particularly rough week. After finally accepting that her husband is brain dead and that there is no hope for recovery she was immediately bombarded with various parties who all begged her to donate Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) heart to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
To say she doesn’t take kindly to the plea’s is an understatement – see the following quote if you have any doubts – “Julie Williams is an evil, evil bitch. I hope she dies!” But, upon reflection, she finally relents and tells Lani (Sal Stowers) that she will sign the paperwork. Just as soon as the murdering cop gets down on her hands and knees and begs.
Desperate to save Eli’s (Lamon Archey) grandmother, Lani agreed to debase herself and do as Gabi demanded. She even parroted Gabi’s assertion that Lani didn’t deserve to be happy with Eli. Although not exactly satiated Gabi followed through on her promise and signed the donation papers.
Not only was Victor (Jon Aniston) subjected to the horrifying news that Brady (Eric Martsolf) had impregnated Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) but he then had to agree to let the demented DiMera move into the mansion — lest she moves Dr. Rolf (William Utay) into her little hotel suite.
Let’s take a minute to examine Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Hartley) recent life choices. She got herself remanded into an ex-lover’s custody despite knowing he is still hung up on his ex-wife. She refuses to let Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) see her baby because he is a serial killer despite being — at the VERY least — a double, spur-of-the-moment murderess herself.
Then, when she ran into Kristen outside the Brady Pub what does she do? Why she immediately brought her over and put her and David on a first name basis. Because THAT is the behavior of a sane person.
Is it any wonder that Ben stormed into Chez Kiriakis and demanded that Victor handle his sister once and for all? He is desperate to save Ciara (Victoria Konefal) but he does ask Victor if he can come up with a non-murderous way to get Jordan out of town.
A Dr. Rolf who has no amnesiac patient to experiment on or a nearly dead person to resurrect is a very dangerous Rolf. Just ask Hope who got a needle full of something, courtesy of the mad scientist who then preceded to cut into her noggin. Perhaps a certain …continue reading on the next page —>
Perhaps a certain clipped English-accented glamor puss and art forger is about to make her triumphant return. When in doubt about what to do with Hope, always look to her glorious alter for inspiration.
When Kristen learned about Stefan’s shooting she took a moment to eulogize her dearly departed brother and she didn’t refer to him as a bastard even once! Clearly the redemption choo-choo train is chugging down the railroad tracks.
What cracked you up more this week? Victor’s unbridled glee at Stefan’s predicament, his cracking wise about Kate’s shooting right in front of the woman’s grandson or his assurance that he, “as serious as Julie Williams heart attack.”?
