Kristen may re-think the idea that she dodged a bullet not having to go off to jail for her recent crimes and misdeeds on Days of Our Lives, but Stacy Haiduk previews what happens next. As we know from Wednesday’s show, the woman carrying Brady’s baby is headed for a place that might be even worse than prison — the Kiriakis mansion!
Stacy Haiduk Previews Kristen’s Next Step
“It’s going to be so much fun!” Haiduk tells Soap Hub of Brady moving his ex-lover into the family estate. “All your favorite characters in one [house]! All I can say is that there are a lot of challenges going on in that house, but [everyone living there] is working towards something bigger than themselves.”
In addition to circling back into Xander’s (Paul Telfer) orbit, Kristen living in the mansion means she’ll be interacting with Victor (John Aniston), who never minces words when it comes to telling people how he feels about them! “I love working with [John],” says Haiduk, adding with a trace of sarcasm, “The love just spills out between Kristen and Victor. They love each other so much!”
Lovin’ DAYS
It’s been over a year since Haiduk joined DAYS first as Susan Banks and then Kristen DiMera, the roles originated by Emmy-winner Eileen Davidson (Ashley, The Young and the Restless). Not only was fan reaction to Haiduk’s interpretation of the characters overwhelmingly positive, but Davidson also tweeted her support of her successor, as well.

“I think Eileen’s amazing,” says Stacy Haiduk. “She’s such a class act. I really appreciate her. It’s hard to get people to start seeing [someone new] as a character, but I’ve been very blessed. Some are still huge fans [of Eileen’s portrayals], but they can get past it to a certain degree. Others are like, ‘I’m on it!'”
Living in the Kiriakis mansion and expecting Brady’s baby are setups that are pregnant (pun intended) with possibilities!
