The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, August 24, 2021, features Xander Cook learning what losing a million dollars can get ya, Allie Horton giving serious consideration to her feelings, and Paulina Price *gasp!* agreeing with her mother.
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has a lot to thank Xander (Paul Telfer) for. There was the whole corpse removal thing; and his keeping quiet about the circumstances of her miscarriage; and his covering for her with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), spending the night in a jail cell, AND turning over his million-dollar bounty.
And Gwen proved how grateful she was – and how absolutely desirable a shirtless Xander is – by throwing herself at her one-time partner-in-crime. Xander did not object; Gwen did not regret her spur-of-the-moment decision.
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is a good man; hence his forgiving Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and deciding to give their courtship another go. But there’s a secret threatening to come out and destroy every familial relationship that Paulina’s managed to salvage. So, she’s got no choice but to agree with Big Mama Price (Marla Gibbs) – the truth about Lani Grant’s (Sal Stowers) maternity must never be revealed.
Meanwhile, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) finds herself in quite the pickle, when she can’t bring herself to exchange I love yous with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Addams). Though they played it cool, both suspect that it has something to do with Allie’s feelings for Chanel Price (Raven Bowens).
Who just so happened to be getting to know Allie’s twin brother, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) in a very intimate sense. However, Chanel brings the revelry to a screeching halt, and both she and Johnny suspect that it has something to do with her feelings for her galpal.
