The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, August 24, 2021, suddenly has Stitch Rayburn remembering a clue that convinces Abby Newman, Tessa Porter, and Rey Rosales that they’re on the right path to finding Mariah Copeland, while Faith Newman has a quiz for Moses Winters, Nate Hastings has a suggestion for Lily Winters, and Jack Abbott continues trying to put off Billy Abbott.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Abby (Melissa Ordway) calls Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) over so Stitch (Sean Carrigan) can tell him what he “suddenly” remembered. A while back, Stitch just happened to see a guy stocking up on the pregnancy protien bars that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) just happens to love.
Oh, and he also just happened to see a notepad the guy wrote his shopping list on, and that notepad just happened to be identical to the one Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) gave Mariah. Rey is on the case, and Abby, Tessa, and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) are so, so relieved. Meanwhile, Mariah is still in captivity. And she’s starting to feel contractions.
Y&R Recap: Digging In
Lily (Christel Khalil) doesn’t want Billy (Jason Thompson) writing a piece on Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) that pulls in Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Jack (Peter Bergman) certainly doesn’t want Billy writing a piece on Ashland that pulls in Victoria and Kyle. So what is Billy doing? Billy is writing a piece on Ashland. But he’s done some digging, and he found out that Ashland once dated an older woman. Who was also rich. That is totes suspicious. Lily gives up.
Young and the Restless: Also Happening
Nate (Sean Dominic) told Lily he doesn’t want to be her Web MD any more. How about Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), he suggests. OK, Lily says. Will there be any more story for Elena with this than there was for Nate?
Plus, Faith (Reylynn Caster) made a quiz for Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines), which was mostly about her. He had to get everything right or he won’t be able to date her. That is…a wee bit self-centered. Then again, who is Grandpa Victor’s (Eric Braeden) little girl?
