The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, August 12, 2021, features Claire Brady and Allie Horton ensuring that Ben Weston and Ciara Brady get all the time they need to reconnect, and Lani Grant insisting that Paulina Price has overstepped her bounds.

Contrary to their opinion on the matter, Claire (Isabel Durant) and Allie (Lindsay Arnold) came to realize that jail wasn’t very pleasant…and as for getting some shut-eye, forget about it!

But despite all that, the young women refused to tell their mean cousin Eli (Lamon Archey) anything about Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) plot, or his and Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) location. Not even Belle Black (Martha Madison), or the dual concern of Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), could convince them otherwise.

At the cabin, a dejected Ben managed to guilt Ciara into sharing a meal of Chinese food. She then made moves to leave, but he again compelled her to hold on – this time, long enough to open up her fortune cookie. Both were surprised to find that the fortune only contained the word, “Yes.” However, all became clear when Ciara’s memories came flooding back, and she remembered receiving Ben’s marriage proposal via another fortune.

DOOL Recap: Money Talks

Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) were surprised to see that someone was offering a $100,000 reward for news on Ciara and Ben…and even more so once they realized the offer was coming from Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).

But while the men took the act in the spirit in which it was intended, Lani (Sal Stowers) tore into her auntie for complicating the investigation.
