Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of our Lives? Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.

The week of September 5, 2016

The villains are coming — three of them to be exact. James Read returns as Clyde on Tuesday, September 6. He last appeared on the soap in October 2015, when Clyde was sent to prison.

Paul Telfer (Xander) and George DelHoyo (Orpheus) make their debuts on September 8. Telfer’s Xander was last seen heading to the slammer in August 2015.

Meanwhile, DelHoyo, who previously went by the name George Deloy, hasn’t been on the Days canvas since 1987. At the time, his character was thought to have been killed by “Roman,” who later turned out to John.

Kassie DePaiva resumes her role as Eve on Thursday, September 8. The actress, who exited the soap in February 2016, is back for a short story arc.

Aaron D. Spears, who plays Justin Barber on The Bold and the Beautiful, will be pulling double duty on Days. He debuts as Lt. Raines on September 9. Look for Spears to share scenes with with Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Casey Moss (JJ) and Brandon Beemer (Shawn).

Jaime Lyn Bauer is back for a brief stint as Jennifer’s mother, Laura. She debuted on Friday, September 2. Bauer last appeared on the soap in 2013.
