Michael (Rory Gibson) unveils his plan to Carly (Laura Wright), admitting, “I finally figured out how to handle Willow.” He saw Chase (Josh Swickard) bringing her flowers and may have realized the police officer could be Willow’s weakness. But to what end? That answer feels a lot less comforting than Michael seems to think.

Meanwhile, a shocked Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) asks Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “Drew was asking for help. Why wouldn’t your mother tell you that?” Liz recognized that Drew (Cameron Mathison) was signaling SOS with his blinks. But by putting Willow on the spot, she’ll likely end up in a chair next to the former congressman, trading concern for consequences in record time.

At the Crimson office, Jack (Chris McKenna) enters and explains to Nina (Cynthia Watros), “I think it’s time that we reset the tone of our relationship.” Willow’s got him in a stranglehold because she’s on the committee that oversees US funding for the WSB, so he’ll probably stop pressing her to get intel from Charlotte (Bluesy Burke).

Elsewhere, Lucas (Van Hansis) tells Josslyn (Eden McCoy), “You might be right to question her choices.” She’s probably asking about Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) as she continues to gather intel and is putting the pieces of everything together, and will come into some tantalizing information. Perhaps she gets an update on the world-destroying device which could ignite a major adventure.

And Cassius (Ryan Paevey) informs Lulu (Alexa Havins), “We have to send him away for his own good.” But Lulu will become outraged, probably by his suggestion, which would be for Rocco’s (Finn Carr) own good. Because nothing ignites a fight faster than someone else deciding what’s best for her son.
