The week of July 18, 2022

The infamous Dr. Wilhelm Rolf is returning, but actor Will Utay, who’s portrayed the character on and off since 1997, won’t be playing him this time around. Richard Wharton has taken over the role and makes his debut on Friday, July 22. Wharton previously did some bit of work on The Young and the Restless. His primetime guest spots include UnCorked, Criminal Minds, and American Crime Story.

After a brief visit, Chandler Massey is departing the soap again as Will Horton. Look for the character to get an unexpected job offer and leave Salem on Monday, July 18.

Elia Cantu makes her debut as Jada Hunter, the new cop in the police force. Her first airdate is Tuesday, July 19. Learn more about her here.

Mark Bramhall has been cast as Governor Mitchell. He’ll share important scenes with George DelHoyo’s Orpheus. Bramhall previously played Mr. Milbauer and a justice of the peace on DAYS.

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
