Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of our Lives? Are any of your favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the not-too-far-off future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring, or day-player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the Days of our Lives fold in surprising new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the Peacock soap.
A familiar face from the soap’s past continues next week. Terrell Ransom, Jr. stays on as Jerry, the actor Whitley (Kim Coles) hired to impersonate Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) son, Theo. It’s a cool casting twist because the actor actually played Theo Carver as a boy from 2008 to 2015. Since exiting DAYS, Ransom, Jr. has worked on various projects, most recently appearing on the Freeform series, Good Trouble.
Richard Warton returns to Salem for another stint as Dr. Wilhelm Rolf. The twisted scientist begins airing Monday, June 26, in scenes with Remington Hoffman’s Li Shin. He’s been summoned back to town to do Megan DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) bidding.
