B&B recap for Thursday, October 27, 2022, features Thomas Forrester having a lot of explaining to do after Hope Logan Spencer discovered a shocking prop hiding in his office.
B&B Recap Highlights
In this episode, it was a familiar scene in the design room when Hope (Annika Noelle) came face to face with her look-a-like mannequin. Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) had it out with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) before saving her daughter from the awkward encounter. And, over at the Forrester estate, Eric Forrester (John McCook) learned something new about Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). Additionally, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) asked Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to come home. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what happened.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: The Creepy Doll Returns
Brooke showed up at the office, but it wasn’t to work. Instead, she sought out Steffy to have it out. She went after her for the parent trap antics and then began ripping Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) apart. Did Steffy not see Thomas was manipulating Hope? Everyone seems to forget what Thomas did in the past, but she hasn’t. Not at all.
Across the hall, it seems Thomas was proving Brooke right. He and Hope were talking about the line, and Hope could not wait to see the latest creations, especially her favorite dress. She stepped behind the divider to see how it was going and came face to face with a nightmare — the Hope mannequin!
Hope was shocked, to say the least. She demanded answers from Thomas — who insisted he was not the one who brought the mannequin back from storage. He didn’t even like it being there. It was a reminder of the worst time in his life. Hope believed him.
Brooke overheard the two talking and interrupted the conversation (she did not hear about the doll). She got Hope alone and expressed her concerns. Hope needed to keep her distance and keep her guard up, Thomas is dangerous. Then she asked if Hope actually thought Thomas was hot. Well, yeah, she said that but told her mom the context of the conversation.
Meanwhile, Thomas was chatting with Steffy. They talked about Brooke’s latest bashing sessions and agreed they would let it go. She wouldn’t be part of their lives much longer anyway. Their daddy was getting an annulment very, very soon.

They no sooner finished talking than Hope came in. Steffy left them to get to work, and Thomas asked Hope to try on one of the gowns, which she did. They looked in the mirror together, and Thomas flashed back to his fantasy kiss and tried to will himself to stop wanting it to be real.
B&B Recap: A Heartbreaking Reality
Over at the Forrester mansion, Liam was quite pleased to experience Douglas’s chess skills. Where did he learn all this from? Eric boasted he, Ridge, and Thomas taught the boy all he knew, but that wasn’t exactly true. Douglas spilled the secret he learned a lot from Donna, too! Oh yes, she’s a great player. She was even her high school’s scorekeeper for a year!

Eric and Donna left Liam and Douglas to talk when Liam started asking Douglas about his living situation. He was having a lot of fun at the mansion, huh? But, when is he coming home? Douglas gently explained he liked where he was and loved the mansion. He also enjoyed having time with his mommy and daddy together – his REAL dad.
Douglas broke it to Liam that while he was a cool guy and all but he wanted to be with his parents – his family. It was where he was most comfortable and what he needed. Liam looked crushed.
