Nina Webster returned to The Young and the Restless for the gala celebrating Genoa City’s bi-centennial (really, Y&R’s 50th anniversary). But she took some time out of reliving old times with gal pal Christine to storm across the room and drag for filth the woman who cheated on Nina’s son. Was Nina right to attack Abby like that in public?
Young and the Restless Polling: I Am Who I Am
Sure, it was wrong, 23% of you shrug. But since when has Nina (Tricia Cast) ever done the right thing – or cared if anyone thought she was wrong? This is the runaway who made herself at home in the Chancellor’s mansion, who seduced Phillip away from Cricket (Lauralee Bell), used her son to get him to marry her, and matched Jill (Jess Walton) barb for barb. Nina said what she felt – and didn’t stop to consider whether or not she should.
None of Your Business
Nina was right. Abby (Melissa Ordway) was wrong to cheat on Chance (Conner Floyd), especially, as Nina pointed out, with Devon (Bryton James), the guy who would hurt Chance the most. But just because she was right, doesn’t mean any of it was her business, 33% qualify. Chance didn’t ask Nina for help, and Abby didn’t ask for her opinion. This is between the kids. Let them deal with it.

Nina Webster: That’s My Boy
Mothers don’t need an engraved invitation to stand up for their babies, 44% of the audience would like o point out. Abby hurt Chance. Which means she deserved to get an earful from Nina. Abby broke Chance’s heart, she took Dominic away, and now she and Devon (Bryton James) are dressed up and acting like they haven’t a care in the world. Nina wanted to give Abby something to care about. And she was totally within her rights to do so.
