Michelle Stafford The Young and the Restless
If Phyllis keeps using underhanded methods to go after Tara Locke and Sally Spectra on The Young and the Restless, she could find herself in the doghouse with some of the people in her life. Off-screen, Stafford welcomed a new family member into her home, which might require its own doghouse!
Stafford announced on Instagram that her family, which includes her daughter, Natalia, and her son, Jameson, has now expanded to include a brand new puppy! “Ok,” the actress posted on social media, “it’s confirmed…NOW my house is a legit circus.” Along with her proclamation, Michelle Stafford shared a photo of her children with the new family dog, who at press time doesn’t have a name yet.
Stafford’s co-stars and daytime pals weighed in with congratulatory messages. “Yay!!!!” tweeted Rena Sofer (Quinn, The Bold and the Beautiful), a devout pet advocate. Stafford noted to her B&B pal that her new pup is a rescue. Tracey Bregman (Lauren) suggested that Stafford name her dog “Nash” since “he’s from Nashville.”
Michelle Stafford’s pal Christian Jules Le Blanc (Michael) enthused, “YES!!!” followed by four heart symbol emojis. “Omg yesssss,” posted Courtney Hope (Sally) followed by a smiley heart face emoji and four heart symbols. Lauralee Bell (Christine), who also recently welcomed new dogs into her home, used emojis to reflect her joy over the news — she posted two clapping hands emojis followed by two heart emojis and one dog emoji.
“Omgggg,” posted Stafford’s former GH cast member Katelyn MacMullen (Willow). Eileen Davidson (Ashley) wrote, “Gotta do it!!!” Follow Stafford on Instagram to see if she’ll be posted more photos of her favorite dog!
Stafford first joined Y&R in 1994 as Phyllis Summers, an obsessed fan of Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian). She drugged him and let him think that he’d impregnated her with their son Daniel (Michael Graziadei). It came out that Phyllis had lied and she lost custody of her child.
Stafford’s taken two breaks from the show over the years during which time Phyllis was played by Sandra Nelson and Gina Tognoni. Michelle Stafford has two Daytime Emmys for her Y&R role. She took home the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1997. In 2004, she won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Drama Series.
