Y&R Spoilers Recap For Jan. 11: Devon and Chance Agonize Over Dom

The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 11, 2022, find Dominic Chancellor’s two dads wondering what’s best for the baby they both love, while Sharon Rosales throws a family fiesta for Nicholas Newman.

The Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) truly wants to be a good father to the baby he and Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) worked so hard to have. But, he seems to have decided that because he didn’t bond instantly with the infant – as if all biological parents do – that means he’s not father material and maybe the tot would be better off with a different dad.

Chance hears Dominic crying on the baby monitor and ignores him. He later lies to Abby that he fell asleep and didn’t hear his son calling for him. Yup, no biological parent has ever lied about that!

Young and the Restless: Let It Go

Meanwhile, Dominic’s biological father, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is pulling back from his earlier vow to sue for legal access to Dominic and is telling Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) that maybe he should give up Dom so as not to upend his life. Amanda tries to convince him that babies deserve to have as many people around them as possible. This seems to be going in circles.

Y&R Recap: Party Hearty

Sharon (Sharon Case) throws Nick (Joshua Morrow) a belated birthday party, where his children, stepchildren, and children’s significant others shower Nick with gifts. At the same time, Nick tries to convince Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) to dump Grandpa Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and come work for dear old dad. Noah is afraid of how Victor will react.

Also at the party, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) spills the beans about her and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) getting ready to adopt. The family is supportive, though Noah looks wistful. Sharon notices.
