The Y&R spoilers for Tuesday, February 8, 2022, open a Pandora’s Box when Abby Chancellor and Devon Hamilton are forced to remember that parenting isn’t all just giggles and unconditional love, while Jack Abbott could use something to smile about, and Amanda Sinclair and Lauren Fenmore put their heads together for a person who…doesn’t deserve it.
The entire night before she and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) went out to celebrate Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) engagement, Abby (Melissa Ordway) kept worrying that something seemed off about Dominic.
When she and Chance returned home, their nanny who — presumably — has had a lot more experience with babies, told them he was fine and sleeping soundly. Abby went ahead and woke up the snoozing tot, who promptly began to cry. And Abby got her way. Look! He’s obviously sick!
The doctor tells them Dominic is physically fine, but they’d like to do some blood tests, just to be on the safe side. (Because blood tests aren’t… physical?) The results promise some shocking news. Will fans’ dreams come true, and Dominic turns out not to be Devon’s biological child, after all?
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wanted Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to beg her not to leave town. When he declined to do so or to proclaim his love (yet again) so that Phyllis could blow him off (yet again), she huffily flew off to Italy. Does that mean Jack can finally put his ex-wife behind him and move on?
Meanwhile, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman), both of whom have pretty full plates right now, still find the time to worry about their mutual pal, Phyllis, and think about how they can improve her lot in life, rather than focusing on their own.
