The actress playing the woman in the green dress at The Grand Phoenix is Krystal Mosley, and the character’s name is Crystal, according to the nametag she wears. When she began in 2019, she wore a different uniform with a white shirt and black pants, but Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) got her the green dress somewhere along the way.
Some fans wonder why Phyllis’s employee is always wearing the same outfit. The reason is that the green dress is the uniform for the women who work at the hotel.
While a uniform makes sense for hotel employees, it’s easy to wonder why Phyllis doesn’t spring for a variety of uniforms to change things up for the people who work at the hotel. That way, they could coordinate each day but have some variety in their outfits.

Balancing Act
We have a few thoughts on why Phyllis hasn’t been able to spend too much extra money on uniforms, though. For one, she seems to have invested no small amount of money in her fancy day spa experience for women. Perhaps any extra money for staff uniforms might have gone to creating inviting rooms and hiring the best massage therapists and technicians for the luxurious experience.
Another possibility is that Phyllis spent all her money on her own clothing. After all, most days, “Red” seems prepared for a fancy cocktail dinner or even a black-tie affair. Phyllis certainly dresses up each day with no casual Fridays for her. In fact, Phyllis has so many stunning gowns, we wonder how she has the space to keep them in her suite at The Grand Phoenix. It doesn’t look like she has a lot of closet space there. Who knows? Maybe she devoted an entire room to her wardrobe.
