The week of August 8, 2022
A former One Life to Live star is heading to Genoa City. Trevor St. John, who initially played Todd Manning but was then revealed to be his twin brother, Victor, on the defunct ABC soap, has been cast in a mysterious new role. There are no details being released about the character. However, St. John will begin taping scenes this month and is slated to start airing this fall.
Since exiting the daytime world, St. John has kept busy with primetime gigs. He was a series regular on the first two seasons of Roswell, New Mexico.
The Young and the Restless History
Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) heart to the complicated love story of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
