Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless (YR), this week, or in the not-too-far-off future?
The Young and the Restless C&G News
Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of February 27, 2023
Good news for Mishael Morgan fans. The actress, who recurs as Amanda Sinclair, is back for another short run on the soap. There’s no word as to exactly how long she’ll be around.
Meanwhile, Vail Bloom has wrapped up her visit as Heather Stevens. The character left town and returned to Portugal, but could return at a later date.
Exiting with Bloom was Lily Brooks O’Briant as Lucy Romalotti, Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei) daughter. The daytime newcomer split town with her mother, mentioned above.
The Young and the Restless History
Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) heart to the complicated love story of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
