Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.
Matthew Ashford and Melissa Reeves, who play Days of our Lives soap opera supercouple Jack and Jennifer Deveraux, pop back into Salem this week. The pair are in town to attend Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) wedding.
Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Jackie Cox is also slated to pay a visit to Salem. Cox, who was previously on Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem in 2021, will be appearing as herself on the soap.
Over at General Hospital Vanessa Mathison, real-life wife of actor Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew Cain, is set to air on the soap. She’ll portray Mia, an executive coach, on Wednesday, April 20 in scenes opposite her husband.
James Patrick Stuart is back as Valentin Cassadine. The actor had been on a break from the soap opera while filming the Disney+ series, Villains of Valley View.
Meanwhile, Stuart’s recently cast TV daughter, Amelie McLain, is already off the canvas as Charlotte Cassadine. The character has been shipped off to boarding school.
With Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) still in the hospital Ashley Jones is back for more screen time as Dr. Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful. She appears Monday, April 18 through Friday, April 22.
Meanwhile, Dan Martin returns to the soap opera as Deputy Baker, the detective investigating Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy’s shooting. The actor airs on Friday, April 22.
