Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.
Two major players are exiting Days of our Lives. Marci Miller has been killed off as Abigail DiMera. The actress took over the popular role in 2016. She left the soap after a two-year run in 2018, before returning to the show in 2020.
Also, Lucas Adams has been written off as Tripp Johnson. He makes his final appearance on Wednesday, June 15, when Tripp says goodbye to his parents, Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), and heads to Seattle. Adams debuted as Tripp in 2017 and was written off in the show in 2019. He returned in 2020.
Matthew Ashford and Cady McClain are returning as Jack and Jennifer Deveraux beginning Tuesday, June 14. The characters are back on the soap opera to mourn the passing of their daughter, Abigail.
Jess Walton is back for another stint as Jill Abbott on The Young and the Restless. The former CEO of Chancellor Industries returns to Genoa City on Monday, June 13 to attend the launch party for Chancellor-Winters.
Antoine Grant has been cast as Giancarlo. He’ll accompany Imani Benedict (Leigh-Anne Rose) to the above-mentioned soiree.
Tremayne Norris turns up as a cop on Monday, June 13. He’ll share scenes with Conner Floyd’s Chance Chancellor.
Super scout Wyatt Hoover is back at General Hospital. Patrick Gibbons returns to the soap opera as the character he originated in 2018 when Wyatt helped save Peter August (Wes Ramsey), who was being held prisoner by Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Best known for his role as Sam Manning on One Life to Live (2010-2012), Gibbons will share scenes with Roger Howarth (Austin), who played his uncle, Todd, on the defunct soap.
Chad Duell has returned to the Port Charles fold as Michael Corinthos. The actor had been temporarily replaced by Robert Adamson (ex- Noah, The Young and the Restless) due to reasons related to Covid.
Ashley Jones, who’s been MIA since Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) release from the hospital, is set to resurface on The Bold and the Beautiful. She’ll air as Dr. Bridget Forrester on Tuesday, June 14, and Wednesday, June 15.
Naomi Matsuda is back on the scene as Dr. Li Finnegan. Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) mother appears on Monday, June 13, Tuesday, June 14, Wednesday, June 15, Thursday, June 16, and Friday, June 17.
