After a long absence, John Aniston is finally resurfacing on Days of our Lives. Look for the Kiriakis family patriarch to turn up in scenes with Eric Martsolf’s Brady on Wednesday, September 22, when Victor makes a request of his grandson.
Cady Huffman has wrapped up her short-term run as Bonnie’s (Judi Evans) duplicitous sister-in-law, Calista Lockhart. The actress, who debuted in the role on August 27, was quickly killed off the soap. Also off the canvas is Kevin Sizemore, who portrayed Calista’s late husband, Harrison Lord, in flashback scenes.
Briana Nicole Henry has decided to leave her role as General Hospital’s Jordan Ashford, after a three-year stint. Her character was sent off to Albany for medical treatment.
Also exiting GH is Sofia Mattsson as Sasha Gilmore. The actress, who recently gave birth to her first child, is on maternity leave and will be off the canvas for a while.
Meanwhile, Lexi Ainsworth is popping back into Port Charles as Kristina Corinthos-Davis, this week. She’ll appear in scenes with Maura West’s Ava.
Over at The Young and the Restless, original cast member Janice Lynde is returning as Leslie Brooks. The character will be in town to attend a special event. Lynde played Leslie from 1973 to 1977 and again, briefly, in 2018.
