The Young and the Restless playboy Billy Abbott always plays fast and loose with the rules. His obsession with stopping Victoria Newman’s wedding is no exception. However, it doesn’t seem like he’s thought through the consequences of what might happen if he successfully stops his ex-wife from marrying Ashland Locke. Could it destroy his relationship with Lily Winters? If so, who’s the right woman for Billy?
Young and the Restless: The Thrill is Gone
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily (Christel Khalil) enjoy a comfortable relationship. Sure, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) caused minor problems. Plus, Billy’s lack of ethics at Chance Comm led to some arguments. However, Billy and Lily managed to work out their differences and enjoy their unexpected relationship for the most part.
There’s just one problem, though. As The Young and the Restless resident playboy, Billy needs a thrill in his life, and it seems like it might be gone with Lily. Plus, if he’s successful at stopping Vicky’s wedding, it could come at the cost of his current relationship unless Lily proves to be exceptionally lenient.
What’s Old Is New Again
The Young and the Restless has been there, done that when it comes to Billy and Victoria pairings. Although they always seem to come together, it never ends up working out long-term for these two. They always face Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) extreme dislike of “Billy Boy,” which doesn’t help. Plus, Billy never truly changes, and Vicky has difficulty accepting him for who he is instead of who she wants him to be.
Although Billy and Victoria could be endgame, we don’t see them successfully reuniting if he succeeds in breaking up her wedding to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).

And Baby Makes Three
While Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) just moved in with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), it’s no secret that he’s been spending a lot of time with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and her baby. Devon isn’t supposed to be Dominic’s father in any way other than biologically. However, with Chance gone, it seems like he and Abby bond daily over the baby.
If Amanda decides she can’t take the growing closeness between Devon and Abby, it could cause issues. If Billy and Lily break up, this would-be couple might both be single at the same time.
The last time they had the opportunity, sparks flew between Billy and Amanda. However, she pumped the brakes on things going further between them. It’s no secret that fans of “Amilly” are pushing for this couple to make a go of it for real sometime soon.
If Billy succeeds in stopping Victoria’s marriage, causing his relationship to implode, and Amanda gets jealous of Devon and Abby, perhaps they’ll get their chance to explore things soon. Recent scenes with Amanda and Billy still show a hint of their fabulous chemistry. Will Amanda prove to be Ms. Right? Will Lily or Victoria? Time will tell.
