The Young and the Restless is an embarrassment of riches when it comes to talented, beautiful leading ladies and, as a result, only a few get to shine on the front burner at a time.
Leading Young and the Restless Lady
But there should be room for everyone, and over 2,000 of you let us know who you think should be the next leading lady to feel the light shining on her:
The Nice One
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) has always been Genoa City’s saddest case. She lost the love of her life, Brad Carlton (Don Diamont – now Dollar Bill on The Bold and the Beautiful), and she lost their daughter – her only child – Colleen.
Men have jerked her around to the point where she tried to commit suicide, and her singing career was undermined by Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman). Yeah, the Lauren Fenmore who told Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that what she did was unforgivable and, no, Lauren doesn’t do second chances. Hey, maybe it’s time for Traci to finally get back at Lauren – and everyone else – a majority 57% of the audience proposes.
Young and the Restless Sister Act
Would be nice to see Traci’s sister, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), also back in the swing of things, 18% suggest. She can do so much more than worry after Abby. Ashley deserves a fulfilling life of her own!
Coffee Talk
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is married, she isn’t dead, 15% remind. Sure, she promised Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) that she would stay away from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). But he’s hardly the only man in town. Forget about old faithful Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow). Get out there and live, Sharon!
Young and the Restless Matriarch Madness
Let’s not forget Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), 10% rush to add. Sure, she’s working with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and she makes concerned faces whenever Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) pulls his latest underhanded stunt. But she is capable of so much more than that. And we want to see it!
