What to Watch Next Week
Devon (Bryton James) has been feeling like Mariah’s stay in a psychiatric facility isn’t punishment enough for kidnapping Dom (Ethan Ray Clark). As a result, anger has been coloring all of his interactions. His marriage is going through a rough patch because of his trying to get Mariah’s plea deal overturned so she can face consequences like jail time.
But Lily (Christel Khalil) finally got through to Devon. Made him realize that his anger is damaging his relationships and that there could be a point of no return if he doesn’t face his feelings. To do that, he needs to face her. Next week, look for Devon and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to discuss forgiveness. Will he be able to forgive Mariah or at least come to terms with the fact that she’s getting the help she needs?
In other Genoa City news, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) tries to do the impossible, and that’s broker peace between Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Does that mean he is in better standing with his mother? Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) is all over the place. He apparently has a change of heart about Patty (Stacy Haiduk). On top of that, he makes a bad decision. What does he do, and how will it affect his marriage?
As far as the Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) situation, the Newmans’ worst nightmare will find himself in Patty’s unhinged hands when she helps him navigate Genoa City. Nick’s addiction remains front and center when Victoria (Amelia Heinle) confronts Nick (Joshua Morrow) about his discovery. But his issues may just be what reunites Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). The estranged husband and wife put their differences aside to support their son.
