The Young and the Restless Stars Camryn Grimes and Sharon Case Go Live

The Young and the Restless may not have any new episodes for you to watch due to the coronavirus pandemic forcing it (and all other entertainment entities) to shut down production but that doesn’t mean its stars aren’t finding new and inventive ways to bring you fresh content! Camryn Grimes (Mariah) loves to go live on Instagram and she recently brought along her onscreen mom, Sharon Case (Sharon).

Camryn Grimes and Sharon Case Talk With The Fans

It started off with just Grimes, as she prepped fans for the fact that this was Case’s first time going live on Instagram. She asked that we please be patient if things go a little haywire as they tried to get her linked up. But the worrying was for naught because in less than a minute — both actresses were on board and ready to have some fun.

They seemed excited to see each other — and to be seen — thrilled for a reason to get dressed up and put on makeup, which worked out beautifully because they both looked absolutely stunning! It turns out the two reconnected on a secret project (they were adorably cagey about it) and decided that doing this might be a fun thing to do.

Grimes reminded that she’d already done an Instagram Live with Cait Fairbanks (Tessa), remarking that Fairbanks and Case are the two people she works with the most on the show. Questions were compiled beforehand by Grimes but first, she wanted to find out how her co-star was handling the stay-at-home orders. Case admitted to actually enjoying the opportunity to “just chill” and stressed the importance of keeping a good attitude.

Answering Fan Questions

After the two women briefly caught up, it was time to answer some questions. Some interesting tidbits to come out of them include Case not really wanting to be an actress — she had wanted to be a ballerina but acting followed while Grimes watched her uncle, Scott Grimes (ER, The Orville, American Dad), work and begged her grandmother to help her do what Uncle Scott does.
