For months Phyllis has lied to Jack about her treacherous liaison with his brother Billy. Shocking new The Young and the Restless spoilers show she can no longer take the overwhelming stress from her appalling deception.

Jack (Peter Bergman) deserves better and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) finally recognizes that. She failed to support him at Adam’s memorial, and instead, she engaged in illicit activities with Billy (Jason Thompson) at the cabin. The horror of what she’s done finally catches up to her.

Even though Jack assures her she’s done nothing wrong and that Victor (Eric Braeden) caused the rift between them, she knows there’s more to the story. Sure, Victor’s typical bad behavior started some of their issues, but none of that excuses Phyllis’s unforgivable, abhorrent actions.

In true Jack fashion, he offers his complete support to a crying Phyllis. Even at this point, he still clearly desperately loves his wife and wants her happiness above his own.

Ultimately, Phyllis finally breaks down and shockingly confesses she’s been lying. Will this be the moment Jack learns of her affair with Billy?
