The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, November 1
Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) refused to accept the possibility that Chance Chancellor died during the bombing of his safe house…Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) reflected on Abby’s situation and agreed to give her all the support and love that she needs.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) revealed to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that a gossip rag has implied that they are a romantic item. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) phones Adam; he refuses to pick up…Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) asks for Sharon Rosales’s (Sharon Chase) help in getting Abby to process her grief.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) asks Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to join him at Society for a reconciliatory lunch; he’s annoyed to see Adam meeting with a PI in the Newman family employ.
Nick is further exasperated when Phyllis accepts an invitation to join Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at their table. The tension between Nick and Phyllis is obvious to their companions. Phyllis makes up an excuse to leave the restaurant. Afterward, she tells Nick that their relationship is never going to work.
Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, November 2
Victor summoned Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to the Chancellor manse. Nate is able to get Abby to nourish herself…Tessa is put out when Mariah cops to feeling like she should be rearing Dominic…Devon and Sharon commiserated over lost loved ones…Abby has a dream in which she visits all the locations pivotal to her and Chance’s love story.
Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, November 3
Phyllis relayed the events of her and Nick’s latest blow-up to Jack, while Nick did the same to Sharon and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson); they both agree that their relationship is over. When alone with Sharon, Noah concludes that Nick never got over her.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) eavesdropped on Victor’s PI and ascertained that Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) is the wind. After they take their leave, the PI phones Adam and reveals that the plan to dupe the couple has succeeded.
Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) learns that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) has set up an appointment at the center hosting the experimental treatment for his cancer; she insists on going with him; she later catches him short of breath.
Billy and Lily are stunned to find Jesse Gains on their doorstep; he begs them for help…Victor calls Nikki with the news about Chance; she tells Victoria.
The Young and the Restless Recaps: Thursday, November 4
Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) returned to Genoa City; she and Abby take comfort in one another…Victoria finds Ashland fighting for breath; she worries that the journey to the medical center will sap him of all his energy; he reaffirms his dedication to fight his illness to the bitter end.
Devon castigates Chance, and his decision to return to active duty during a conversation with Victor…Gaines spins a yarn concerning his escape from Victor’s hired goons; he claims to still have Camila Rhodes’s letter that details her desire that Ashland inherits nothing from her. Lily and Billy agree to shelter Gaines – in a hotel room.
Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) attempts to goad Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) into saying something that will help taint the case against him. Amanda realizes what her grandfather is up to, and forces him to hand over the recording device concealed in his jacket pocket.
Y&R Recaps: Friday, November 5
Nick and Victoria tentatively reconcile. Much to his surprise, Victoria tells her brother not to give up on Phyllis…Phyllis warned Amanda to be warry of Sutton. Amanda lets slip the news about Chance; Phyllis promises not to breathe a word about it.
Nikki confides Abby’s woes to Adam; he very nearly tips Nick off to the goings-on…Lily is aghast to learn that Billy intends to use Gaines’s evidence to blackmail Victor and Adam into submission.
