The Young and the Restless Recap: Victor Makes a Key Choice For Adam

 Comments

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, August 26, 2020 features Adam fleeing… and Sharon fleeing after him. Meanwhile, Chelsea begs Victor to help her flee, too. Plus, Kyle and Summer go on a romantic picnic… to talk about Nick… while Lola and Theo try to figure out where they stand.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Remember last year, when Connor (Judah Mackey) was the most important person in the world, and all of Genoa City was worried about whether he was happy and comfortable every single minute?

This year, that role will be played by his dad, Adam (Mark Grossman). Adam freaked out when Sharon (Sharon Case) helped him almost remember everything that happened the night A.J. died. He ran and ran and ended up in Kansas. Sharon figures out that’s where he likely went, and asks Victor (Eric Braeden) if she can take the jet to follow him. Sure, Victor says.

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is less sanguine about it. He reminds Sharon that she’s sick. Sharon reminds him that nothing is more important than Adam! Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) agrees. She also asks Victor for the jet to go to Kansas. Nope, Victor says. I like Sharon better. (I did sleep with her, he seems to hint. I haven’t slept with you… yet.)

Elsewhere, Adam walks around the house, remembering things. Then Sharon shows up. Time to fix you!

Young Love

Theo (Tyler Johnson) takes Lola (Sasha Calle) to a food truck festival, then promises to take her to New York City, where they’ll eat at the best restaurants and see the hottest Broadway shows. Ha-ha, all of those things are closed for the near future. No wonder Lola says she’d rather stay in Genoa City.

Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) have a picnic where first they talk about Nick (Joshua Morrow), and then she suggests that they move in together… while sitting six feet apart and trying to look casual on a picnic blanket. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
