When Adam first returned to The Young and the Restless, Chelsea wanted nothing to do with him. She was, in fact, really afraid of letting Adam near Connor. But then her husband died – and Adam tried to suggest Chelsea had something to do with it – and she and Adam nursed a half-dead cat for Connor on Christmas, and suddenly Chelsea was Adam’s biggest fan.
The Young and the Restless Polling
She defends him to everyone, and, when even Adam worries that he might have gone too far, Chelsea is there to remind him he’s the greatest man who ever lived. So where does a couple this happy go from here? We got suggestions from over 2,000 viewers!
Adam the Redeemer
Almost half, 48% of you, want Adam (Mark Grossman) to start walking the straight and narrow, worshiping Victor (Eric Braeden) the way all his other children do, admit that Dad knows best, and be embraced into the bosom of the Newman family. Trust us, it’s better this way. For everyone.
And then there’s the 30% of The Young and the Restless fans who are leaning in the opposite direction. That group wants Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to be working with Victor to bring Adam down. You think she changed her tune too quickly and must be working a long con on Adam to make sure she gets Connor’s (Judah Mackey) share of the family fortune… and Adam’s, too.
Wed and Bread
A last-place 22% wants to see Adam and Chelsea remarry, and then live happily ever after. Adam can get everything he wants, Chelsea can get everything she wants, and the rest of the Newmans can bow down before them.
After all, why should this perfectly nice couple of con artists, both of whom have been responsible for a death or two, not be rewarded for living such exemplary lives? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
