The Young and the Restless Recap: Victor Has Questions, Jack Has Apologies

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, September 13, 2021, spreads the wealth, as Victor Newman wants answers from Ashland Locke – as does Billy Abbott from Victoria Newman, while Jack Abbott needs to clarify himself to Phyllis Summers, Adam Newman needs to clarify himself to Chelsea, Rey Rosales has heard enough from Sharon Rosales, and Mariah Copeland has doubts about Abby Chancellor.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

As Billy (Jason Thompson) tells Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that he can’t track down Ashland’s (Richard Burgi) birth certificate – and Victoria wonders if he thinks her fiancé might be from outer space – Victor (Eric Braeden) is also quizzing his future son-in-law.

Victor wonders if Ashland might have been inspired by Victor’s heroic story of remaking himself. Are they basically twinsies? Tell The Mustache all about it, son. Ashland does not. But he does have something to tell Victoria.

Y&R Recap: Love Is All Around

Jack (Peter Bergman) apologizes to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) if he made her uncomfortable by declaring his love. Phyllis, who understands why every man should be in love with her, assures Jack that she wasn’t uncomfortable.

What a shame she’s with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) now. Oh, well, better luck next time, runner up! Later, Nick wonders, if he and Phyllis are just hanging out, having a good time, or is it something more? More, Phyllis says. Totes more.

Young and the Restless Recap: Best Beloved

Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) agonize over how to break the news to Connor (Judah Mackey) that they’re not together anymore. (Do Lily and Cane’s twins even know their parents broke up? Has Harrison been told his mother is in prison? Those kids don’t matter as much as Connor!) Chelsea wonders if they might give it another shot. No, Adam says. Though, like Phyllis, he understands why she’d still be hung up on him.

At the same time, Sharon (Sharon Case) is telling Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) that she went over to Adam’s to help him – again. Rey can’t have this conversation anymore. He’s going back to work.

Y&R: Double Fault

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) hates the fact that she is kind of blaming Abby (Melissa Ordway) for what happened to her. It was Stitch’s (Sean Carrigan) obsession with his ex-wife that put Mariah and Bowie in danger. What if he comes for the baby again? Tessa Porter gives Abby the heads up. Mariah overhears.
