The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 26, 2021, brings health results to Ashland Locke, confusion to Victor Newman, and an opportunity for Phyllis to be even more unbearable.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Ashland (Richard Burgi) began his day in a business meeting with Victor (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), where they twirled their mustaches and made plans to obliterate Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) er, Billy Abbott’s media company.
Ashland gives Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) a head’s up, in case she wants to protect her ex-husband, but Victoria surprises him by saying that Billy is a big boy who can take care of himself. Later, however, Ashland’s day takes a definite downturn, as his doctor calls…with bad news. His uncurable cancer is still uncurable.
At the same time, Billy tries to pump Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for information about Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones). She keeps her lip zipped, but Adam sees them together and obviously leaps to the wrong conclusion.
Y&R Recap: Dazed and Confused
Victor doesn’t understand why Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is mad at him. He has given his spoiled-brat son everything he could have ever wanted. Why is Nick all bent out of shape because Victor has also used his son for his own gains, then dumped him the minute something better came along?
Because he keeps pulling him closer, then pushing him away? Because he wants to run his life and chastises him whenever Nick makes his own decisions. Sheesh, so sensitive. Does Nick know Victor grew up in an orphanage????
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is also having trouble getting Nick to understand why she wants more from their relationship. So she goes whining to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), the man who professed his love for her, about the problems Phyllis is having with the man who doesn’t love her enough – but Phyllis is still sticking by. Bitch.
