The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, October 11, 2021, is a festival of wedding crashers, as Victoria Newman faces off with Nicholas Newman, and Ashland Locke and Victor Newman double-team Billy Abbott. Nikki Newman is quite displeased with it all.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
After Nick (Joshua Morrow) went digging into Ashland’s (Richard Burgi) past, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) told her brother that he was no longer invited to her wedding. Nick showed up anyway, and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) urged her children to hug it out.
Victoria grumbled that since Mommy and Daddy want them to play nicely, Nick can go ahead and stick around for the wedding. She probably won’t even notice him. Nick wants to unpack the state of their sibling relationship – right this very minute. Victoria isn’t interested.
Nick returns to the hotel room and whines to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that his parents are Team Ashland. Stupid, stupid parents.
Young and the Restless: Tag Team
Billy (Jason Thompson) was actually invited to the wedding. But so that he could bring his and Victoria’s children. Instead, Billy dumped that errand on girlfriend Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and arrived a day early.
He followed the sound of Ashland coughing to find his ex-wife’s intended. Billy offered to help. Then, as soon as Ashland regained his breath, Billy was about to go on the attack – when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) popped in, and announced that, in Ashland, Victoria has finally found a man Victor deems worthy of her and threw Billy out.
Ashland was about to tell Billy that he told Victoria all about Jesse Gaines, but Victor is there to report to Ashland that Billy brought Jesse to Italy. Victoria walks in and wants to know what’s going on. Billy returns to his room and finds his ace in the hole missing.
