Y&R spoilers are always showing how Victor and Nikki Newman weather many a storm. There was his affair with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). There was her on-again/off-again relationship with Jack Abbot (Peter Bergman).

There was Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) finding out about Victor (Eric Braeden) faking Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) death and announcing they were over, they would now have a marriage in name only, and taking up a friends-with-benefits relationship with the handyman. Then she got over it. And Victor overlooked her foray into disloyalty.

But now comes a betrayal Victor might not be able to overlook. Nikki has kept a business detail from him. Now, granted, Victor turned his company over to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Nikki is the COO of the company now, and neither she nor Victoria is obliged to run their business decisions by Victor. But they should, nonetheless.
To show their respect and confirm that Victor is the head of the family and the idea of two women making a decision without a big, strong man chiming in is just, well, inconceivable, honestly. How dare Y&R spoilers suggest that Nikki do her job and not ask for Victor’s blessings first?

Nikki should have no trouble dealing with Victor’s latest tantrum. She’s used to them by now. She’ll let it roll off her back without paying it any mind. What she won’t be able to let roll off her back, however, is if Victor goes after Victoria, deciding to punish his daughter and bring her down as punishment for not properly worshipping Daddy – you got that? And if Victor decides to install Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in her place, Nikki will really not be able to stand it.
