The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, September 24, 2021, drops Phyllis Summers into the citywide obsession with getting to the bottom of Ashland Locke’s past. Plus, Victor explains why Ashland is so much better than Billy Abbott, while Billy thinks he’s about to prove the opposite.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Now that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has joined forces with Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) to investigate Ashland (Richard Burgi), she has the power of Google at her disposal – why didn’t anyone else think of that! Somehow, Phyllis has managed to access a website that gives her a list of every dead man around Ashland’s age – in Genoa City? In New Jersey? In America? In the world?
How long would such a list be, and how did Phyllis quickly manage to narrow it down to three men, one of whom she’s sure is Ashland’s original identity? No matter, the case is as good as cracked. And, just to make sure, Phyllis stops by Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) to be nice to her. So that she knows Phyllis and Nick only did this because they love her so.
Young and the Restless: Two Peas In a Pod
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) makes a point of telling Ashland why he’s the best man Victoria has ever dated. It’s because Ashland is so much like Victor! You know who was the worst man Victoria ever dated? Billy (Jason Thompson). Because he keeps acting like he’s better than Victor. Silly Billy.
Y&R Recap: Money Talks
While Victor and Ashland beam about how wonderful they are, Billy is offering Ashland’s lawyer, Jesse Gaines, half a million dollars to spill all about his boss. Jesse is game. But when Victor shows up at Jesse’s door, what do we want to bet the unethical fellow will happily offer himself up to the highest bidder?
