The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, October 28, 2021, gives both Phyllis Summers and Nicholas Newman some new food for thought, while Victoria Newman Locke tells Ashland Locke what he’ll be doing next, and Noah Newman grows vague under Sharon Rosales’s questioning.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) spent the night alone, drinking. When Nick (Joshua Morrow) showed up, they sniped at each other and retreated to separate corners. Nick went running to Sharon (Sharon Case). Phyllis went running to Jack (Peter Bergman). What else is new? Jack reminded Phyllis that when things aren’t going exactly to her liking, she starts looking for a way out.
Sharon and Noah (Rory Gibson) – who, earlier, agreed not to go into detail about the romance that went bad in London – gave Nick advice about his current problems. When it came to Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Noah said that family is family.
When it came to Phyllis, Noah said, stick with it, Dad! Sharon just kind of sat there. Later, she told Noah she doesn’t think Phyllis is what’s best for Nick. They’re doomed. Thanks, guys, Nick said, and went off to make up with Phyllis.
Y&R Recap: Health Insurance
Victoria refuses to accept that her husband is dying. So that’s that. First, they went to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). He’s not an oncologist, but, yeah, sure, he’ll look over the new treatment protocol Ashland (Richard Burgi) is thinking of. Victoria informed him that they expected good news.
She then informed Ashland that she expects him to fight and keep fighting. For her. She doesn’t care what it costs him. Ashland WILL live. Newmans always get what they want. Nate reads quickly. He doesn’t think the chances of improvement are very good. Ashland says he’ll try anything – his wife told him to.
