The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, November 17, 2021, finds someone other than us warning Jack Abbott about Phyllis Summers jerking him around, while Mariah Copeland tries to understand Abby Chancellor’s diss of her.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Abby (Melissa Ordway) snuck out of her house without telling her parents Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) where she was going. Ashley filled in Mariah (Camryn Grimes), who hightailed it over to Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James), heartbroken that if Abby was going to dump her baby, she dumped him with Dominic’s biological father rather than the woman who carried him for nine months and basically offered to babysit first. Ashley also drops by Devon’s to worry about Abby possibly having left town.
Later, Mariah came upon Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) having coffee with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson). Tessa was only asking Noah to design her new album cover, but Mariah is so obsessed with Bowninic, she doesn’t even wonder about what’s going on between her girlfriend and her girlfriend’s ex, who just so happens to be her half-brother.
Y&R Recap: Center Of The Universe
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) have a polite breakfast to talk about Chance’s death and Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) fabulous new life in Italy (you know, the one Phyllis fought against her having). When Nick leaves without proclaiming his undying love for her, Phyllis is devastated. Luckily, Jack (Peter Bergman) is there to glimpse her pain through the window and come rushing in.
He reminds Phyllis how wonderful she is. Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) arrive. While Michael tells Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) that he has a good feeling about putting her grandpa in jail, Lauren wonders if Jack can just keep being a friend to Phyllis. She wouldn’t want them to repeat the mistakes they’ve already made while in a relationship. Phyllis, meanwhile, keeps thinking about what Amanda said about her and Jack and reconnecting.
