The Young and the Restless Recap for May 27
 Comments

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, May 27, 2021, shows more schisms in Kyle and Summer’s relationship, and in Billy and Lily’s cohabitation, and teases a new partnership in Ashland and Sally.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Now that Kyle (Michael Mealor) is preparing to claim Harrison as his son, Summer (Hunter King) has decided they need to postpone the wedding. She tries to convince Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she is totes fine with it. She knows that Kyle still loves her best.

Kyle spends the afternoon getting to know his son and boasting to Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) about how he cleverly outsmarted that social climber, Sally (Courtney Hope). At the same time, Sally is telling Ashland (Richard Burgi) that she knows where his wife and son are. Now, what’s Ashland going to do to make spilling that information worth Sally’s while? Let’s talk about Summer. (Who outsmarted who, again, spoiled rich boy?)

Summer asks Tara if she’s planning to go back to New York after she wins custody of Harrison. Nah, Tara says. She thinks she’ll hang around Genoa City. It’s where Kyle lives, after all.

Other Options

And in case the Sally alliance doesn’t work out, Ashland also had a very pleasant chat with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Billy (Jason Thompson) wants to know what that was about. Victoria blows him off. Billy tells Jack (Peter Bergman) he wants to cover Ashland’s divorce. Jack warns him against it…without mentioning why.

Lily, on the other hand, thinks they should go for it – professionally speaking. She doesn’t think Billy has any business digging into Ashland and Victoria’s relationship. Whatever it is.

Kid Stuff

Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) and Faith (Reylynn Caster) do homework together. Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) beam about how adorable they are. Everyone drinks coffee. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
