The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, November 3, 2021, throws a monkey wrench into Billy Abbott and Lily Winters’s plan for some private adult time – but certainly boosts Billy’s plans to hold Victor Newman at bay. Plus, Nick Newman and Phyllis Summers kvetch about their relationship to people who politely listen – even though they should be sick of this broken record by now, and Victoria Newman Locke gets more bad news.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) called Billy (Jason Thompson) and asked if he could watch the kids while she and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) went on their honeymoon/miracle cure hunt. Billy agreed and he and Lily (Christel Khalil) made plans to take some adult time before Johnny and Katie arrived.
But, first, they had to eavesdrop on Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) PI about the missing Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones). They got home, but adult time was, once again interrupted – this time by Jesse himself, claiming he has nowhere else to go.
Young and the Restless: Double Team
Nick (Joshua Morrow) complained to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Sharon faked her support and, later, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) observed that maybe his dad keeps breaking up with Summer’s (Hunter King) mom…because he’s still in love with Noah’s.

Phyllis complained to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Nick. Jack faked his support and, later, Phyllis and Nick had an extensive flashback to all of their issues. (Phyllis is a complete lunatic, but she did have a good point about that whole, your dad set me up to be raped thing.) And decided it really was over. For now.
Y&R Recap: Death Not Be Proud
Victoria tells Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) how hard she is working to keep her husband alive. Nikki told Victoria that Abby Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) husband is presumed dead. Not a good day for the family.
