The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, November 19, 2002, features Billy declaring his innocence to doubters, Chelsea declaring her love – and her doubts, and Victor declaring his loyalty with no doubts whatsoever.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Paul (Doug Davidson) suspects Billy (Jason Thompson) is connected to the attempted murder of Adam (Mark Grossman) and he has a search warrant. Billy swears he’s innocent but realizes he needs to take the potential charges seriously.

He asks Amanda (Mishael Morgan) to be his lawyer. No, Lily (Christel Khalil) says, Amanda is corporate and Billy needs a criminal lawyer. That’s what Lily says. What Billy hears is that Lily thinks she’s guilty. He points out that defending him is also good for Chancellor Communications. Lily agrees, which is why Billy needs to step down. Billy says he will. But he’ll miss kissing her. Very professional.

Dad’s the Word

Victor (Eric Braeden) reminds Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that Adam is his son and he will do anything he needs to fix him until Adam is the son Victor demands he be. And when Victor says anything he needs to, he actually means anything Sharon (Sharon Case) needs to.

Sharon tries to explain that she can’t get involved again. Not only would her fiance, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), not appreciate it, she’s also, oh, yeah, recovering from cancer! That’s… not really Victor’s problem, now is it? Sharon tells Rey she’s decided to help Adam.

On the Road Again

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) admits she still loves Adam, but she can’t trust him anymore. Adam offers to prove that he’s a changed man by leaving town – but only if Chelsea goes with him. She doesn’t believe he’s willing to walk away from the Newman family – and the Newman money – forever. Adam swears he is. And then Sharon calls. Chelsea has had enough. Victor stops by to tell Adam he needs therapy. Even Adam knew that!

Rush Job

Also, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chance (Donny Boaz) are planning to get married next week. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) admits she wasn’t the greatest role model in the relationship department. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
