The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 1, 2021, is all about Ashland Locke, as Victoria Newman protects him from Nicholas and Victor Newman’s snooping, and Billy Abbott follows suit. Also, Phyllis goes on a power trip she might not be able to return from.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) stops by Society to pick up some soup for a chemo-knocked-out Ashland (Richard Burgi), where she runs into Nick (Joshua Morrow). Victoria informs her brother that he and Victor (Eric Braeden) didn’t need to go digging for dirt on her fiancé.
Ashland would have told them if they’d just asked – he told her without prompting. Nick notes that Victoria may talk a good defense, but if Victor is able to prove Ashland is clean, she’ll be grateful. Victoria isn’t quite ready to go that far yet.
Young and the Restless: Party Time
Nick dresses up for Victor and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) media launch party, where Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is going crazy dealing with lazy workers, and demands Nick promise to pamper her later. Because, remember, everything is about her.
Nick takes a quick Phyllis break to make frowny faces at Billy (Jason Thompson) who is doing his own investigation on Ashland – which Victor needs Nick to kibosh. Lily Winters (Christl Khalil) continues pretending she’s fine with her boyfriend’s ex-wife obsession. It’s for the children, of course.
Y&R: Plus One
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) waited until a quick chat with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) before accepting Adam’s invitation to be his date for the party. They make a grand entrance, looking smashing.
Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) aren’t pleased by Adam’s choice of companion, but Phyllis is the one ready to toss Sally out. Nick points out that she can’t. Phyllis is confused. She’s done it before. Adam and Sally toast and look forward to a big night.
