The Young and the Restless Recap: Chance Finally Gets To Meet His Son

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, December 3, 2021, is a family reunion as Abby Chancellor brings her husband to meet his son – at the boy’s biological father’s house. Plus, Jill Foster Abbott Atkinson puts the entire Newman family on high alert, as Billy Abbott throws his own monkey wrench into the proceedings.

After swearing that his still being alive must be kept a secret at all costs, Chance (Conner Floyd) gave in to Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) wheedling and said, sure, what the heck, tell everyone!

Now they are back in Genoa City and headed to Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) to pick up Dominic. Chance thanks Devon for being there for them and being a father figure in his son’s life. Devon looks more and more uncomfortable, as Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) looks on in concern.

Abby, however, as use to she is to everyone bending over backward to make her happy, blithely thanks Devon and goes to grab her kid. They are finally the family Abby always wanted. All is right with the world again. Especially since Chance’s presence turned the blanket into a real-life infant!

Y&R Recap: Sold – American!

Instead of selling Chance Comm either to Newman Media or Newman Enterprises, Jill (Jess Walton) puts the entire kit and caboodle up for bid. Even the great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) compliments her moxie. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is happy that Jill has made it clear she doesn’t trust her loser son, but unhappy that it will drive the price up. Especially since Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be joining in the bidding.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas) warns her daughter against it – family loyalty and all. But Victoria insists this is exactly how Daddy taught her to businesswoman. Nikki suspects this is about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Billy thinks it’s about him, too, as he tells Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that he will salvage his name by proving that what he printed about Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) was true, after all. Which is when Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) shows up.
