The Young and the Restless Recap: Billy Has Victor Rattled

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, September 27, 2021, finds Victor Newman still pretending he isn’t worried about Billy Abbott digging into Ashland Locke’s past, while Devon Hamilton gives little Dominic Chancellor a Genoa City history lesson, and Tessa Porter is forced to put a damper on Mariah Copeland’s enthusiasm.

After Victor (Eric Braeden) has a little chat with Ashland’s (Richard Burgi) lawyer, the sleazy litigator disappears – just as Billy (Jason Thompson) returns to buy what Jesse was selling. Billy sees Victor and Ashland meeting and wonders why they aren’t doing business…at their place of business. Victor says they’ll go to the ranch for privacy.

Billy reminds Victor of the good times he and Ashland had at the ranch – like when Victor almost let Ashland die of a heart attack. Victor tries to sound menacing, but it’s obvious that he’s shaken when he mumbles something about Billy taking a long walk off a short…cliff? That’s not how the saying goes. (Pier, Victor, it’s a pier.)

Later, Victor tells Ashland that he bought Jesse off, so nothing more to worry about it. Victor did it for Victoria (Amelia Heinle) – so ol’ Ash better keep Victor’s baby girl happy. Meanwhile, Victoria is confessing to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that she still feels Ashland is keeping secrets from her.

Young and Restless: Baby Blues

Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) laments to Devon (Bryton James) about being tired, so Devon offers to take Dominic to the park, where he fills the tot in on great-grandma Kay.

At the same time, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is assuring Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that she’d love to have a family with her. But not now, Mariah is still too fragile. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is worried about the same thing. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) distracts her by tickling her with a feather.
