The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, September 21. 2021, offers viewers another hint as to Ashland Locke’s past as his lawyer threatens him, Nick Newman investigates him, and Billy Abbott looks meaningfully through a window. Also, Amanda Sinclair talks down a hysterical Imani Benedict, and Tessa Porter wonders how to react to Mariah Copeland’s desperate request.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Nick (Joshua Morrow) asks Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) how Ashland (Richard Burgi) could have changed his name and covered his tracks so skillfully that even Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) crack investigators can’t dig them up. I dunno, Rey says.
At the same time, Ashland’s lawyer is explaining that he kept Ashland’s secrets for years. And he intends to keep doing it after Ashland is dead. Which is to say that he expects to keep getting paid, even from the other side of the grave. Three million, please. Or he spills all! Billy (Jason Thompson) sees Ashland having a meeting with another rich white guy and assumes obviously something evil is taking place!
Ashland wonders if Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) really and truly believes in him, or only really believes in him. He promises her no more surprises. She knows everything now!
Young and the Restless: Sister, Sister
Imani (Leigh Ann Rose) is freaking out about Naya’s (Ptosha Storey) heart condition. Amanda (Mishael Morgan) says she called Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and it’s all taken care of.
Oh, OK, Imani says. Let’s have sister time! Amanda calls Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to say she’ll move into the penthouse later. No problem, he says. Devon is really cool, Imani says.
Y&R Recap: Baby Love
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) believes Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is on board with her plan for them to have a baby together, but Tessa’s face says otherwise. She likes the idea of starting a family. But not, you know, right this second. Plus, Mariah is obviously still traumatized. Tessa knows what’s best for her. Mariah wants to, anyway.
