The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, May 19, 2021, lets Ashland into Kyle’s head, while Lily and Billy make plans for the future, and Abby and her baby mama face their own challenges.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) denies to Ashland (Richard Burgi) that he knows where Tara (Elizabeth Lenier) and Harrison are. But he gives in when Tara calls him to beg for help, and tells Summer (Hunter King) he is going to claim Harrison as his son.
Summer points out that this could be terrible for Harrison, but Kyle is determined to play hero. Especially after Summer told him how hot he looked when he slammed the door in Ashland’s face.
Ashland’s next stop is Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) who he tries to bully into providing him with The Grand Phoenix’s guest list. He threatens to expose her refusal to the press. Phyllis points out that the press would likely approve of her protecting her guests’ privacy. It’s kind of the law. Phyllis texts Summer to let her know what’s going on.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) comes home early from a business trip, but Billy (Jason Thompson) sticks to his plans with Lily (Christel Khalil). They discuss how they’re going to fight Victor (Eric Braeden) and Adam (Mark Grossman).
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is feeling fat. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) tells her she’s still beautiful and books them a hotel room with massages.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) is feeling bad that she is still miserable over Chance when so much else is going right her way. Big sister Victoria assures her it’s OK to be a poor little rich girl. It’s kind of the Newman brand.
While waiting for Abby to join her for dinner, Victoria ran into Ashland. They should have a drink. Talk about… things. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
