Forgiveness Form: Should Chase Cut Finn a Break On General Hospital?

Chase has a lot of things to forgive Finn for on General Hospital. There’s the whole thing where Finn slept with Chase’s mom the night before her wedding to his dad and ended up fathering Chase (well sort of, but that’s another story). That’s kind of a big one.

General Hospital Polling

But they have more immediate problems at the moment. Chase (Josh Swickard) is in the hospital, possibly dying, and Doctor-Brother-Father Finn (Michael Easton) is pretending not to know what’s causing it. He knows what’s causing it. Peter (Wes Ramsey) is causing it.

Peter poisoned Chase and blackmailed him and Anna (Finola Hughes) for the antidote. So Chase was nothing more than a pawn. Should he forgive Finn when he finds out the full story? What over 2,000 voters told us:

Protect and Serve

Get a grip, dude, Finn was just trying to protect you, 84% of the audience lectures. There was nothing to be gained from filling Chase in. He needed to focus his energies on getting better. Learning about Peter would have just added to the stress. If Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) can lie to him for a good cause, why shouldn’t Finn be able to?

Sulk Island

A much smaller 10% of you believe Chase has the right to sulk first. Sure, he’ll forgive Finn eventually, but, for now, he can channel the anger he feels towards his paternity con by pretending it’s about something less important.

Family Trust

A last-place 6% believe Chase has the right to be angry. Finn should have trusted him. He should have burdened a guy on death’s door with his ex-girlfriend’s ex-son’s latest crazy pants plot. Like knowing that would have helped Chase fight off the poison and go chasing (ha!) after Willow… only to find her with Michael (Chad Duell).

Then again, maybe telling Chase about Peter would have distracted him from the personal blow awaiting him. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
