The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, March 17, 2021, highlights Lily and Victoria proving that the point is often not the point, Amanda demanding the truth from Devon, and a collapse for Rey!
Now that Nate (Sean Dominic) has told her he’s tired of her back and forth – they’re done, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) goes running back to Devon (Bryton James). He tells her he wants a future with Amanda (Mishael Morgan), not her. Elena wonders to Lola (Sasha Calle) how she could have lost both great guys? Lola assures her it’s not all her fault. If these guys couldn’t put up with her constantly cheating on them, obviously they don’t deserve her!
Meanwhile, Amanda demands that Devon tell her whether or not he slept with Elena. Devon admits that he did. But, hey, it was only to prove to himself that Amanda was who he really wanted!
Amanda refuses to see the bright side and stalks out. She cries to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) about how she could have made so many stupid romantic mistakes. At least when Phyllis tells Amanda it’s not her fault, she has a point. Two points for YR showcasing women’s friendships!
Lily (Christel Khalil) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) argue over why Victoria would sell the Newman media company to Chancellor, then turn around and try to buy another media company, especially when she knows Lily and Billy (Jason Thompson) want it too? It almost sounds like they’re not just talking about work, doesn’t it? By end of day, Ashland announces that he’s made his decision.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) continues trying to fight off his mysterious malady in a manly way. Sharon (Sharon Case) wants to call a doctor. Rey says, “Don’t.” Sharon does it anyway, then Rey passes out again. (Why is this worse than when he passed out the previous times?) The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
